XKit App Reviews

Sure the app doesnt crash constantly on opening now, but I still cant see all comments on posts, they only show the OPs original comments. Plus the app crashed when I went to reblog a post, and all my reblogs still say "You reblogged You" instead of saying who I reblogged from.

Thanks for the update. Seriously. Some bugs, but overall fixes so many problems that came with all the recent update to Tumblr, it wasnt usable anymore with the previous version. Its great :D Problem I noticed: if I use the @ to tag someone, the letters I typed to find the person appears in the post. Tried to edit the post to remove the letters, the app crashed. Thanks again for this great update!

it doesnt work for me anymore. every time i try to reblog something, it says "error could not reblog". it wont let me reply to messages either. its a real shame, especially because it cost money.

Its buggy again. I love using this app but every time it crashes i always wonder if it was worth buying when i can get the same thing from the native tumblr app.. for free ... #fixit

I like it and it does what I want but where is the chat box?

I used to love using XKit way more than the original Tumblr application. However, since the most recent update, I havent been able to send asks to other users. It also says that Ive reblogged posts from myself when Ive reblogged them from someone else. And although this isnt connected to the recent update, I want to be able to see and swicth all of my accounts instead of seeing the only first five. For now, Im switching back to Tumblr. This is unfortunate, considering that I spent real money on this application, hoping for the best results I had seen on review websites.

Good news is, it stopped crashing on boot all the time! Bad news is, Tumblrs "90s Forum" layout looks terrible everywhere, including on XKit. Some posts forgo newer replies and occasionally entire conversations. But at least, I am happy that Xkit has made a return and has risen from the ashes like a Phoenix (albeit still a bit charred).

The app is good but I would really love to have all the extensions I have on PC, like TagViewer for example! Ps: Im from Italy and writing from an iPhone 4g

XKit is my favourite extension of all time, and I downloaded the mobile version one second after receiving the notification on my pc. Im sure that this extension, and specially the developer behind it, deserves the money we pay for it. This app should also deserve a 5 stars review, but some things need to be improved. I made a review for the previous version and in a few days the app has been updated to fix some problems, now looks better, but in my opinion you should: - Remember the value of the "replace caption" button. Keep it active for future reblogs if tapped one time. - Add tags like the official Tumblr app: remove the auto-capitalization and add them hitting Enter. - Plus I noticed that SoundCloud audio posts show up as "Unsupported audio post", but this is a minor problem. I hope to give this app 5 stars on my next review! Good work, keep going.

I tried and tried so many times, I log into it with my email and password but it wont work!!? I logged in through tumblr app and it works but every time I log in through xkit it refuses Im so frustrated right now.

Thank you so much for everything that was put into this! I can now scroll through my dashboard and not have to see all the ads or recommended posts I did not sign up for. No shoe sales or other odd ads that hold no interest for me but take up a good chunk of my dashboard. I also have the opportunity to blacklist stuff on mobile so I dont get spoiled for TV shows or other things I might not want to see. And the best part is the pictures load and I have more control over what I can and what I dont want to see. Along with that I can track tags, time stamp items and change the color scheme! Thanks for everything! Tumblr just got 150% cooler!

More usable than the tumblr app itself but it still shows sponsored posts and weeks old posts from time to time. I keep seeing the same posts over and over from some users

Ive been seeing posts from a week or a month ago its been happening more frequently now and now I can go through my dash without seeing things from a few days ago. Had to go through the tumblr app just to make sure and yeah those posts are from days ago and when I refresh it it brings even older posts.. Please fix this I dont want to go through the tumblr app knowing it doesnt have blacklist.

Its great for blocking out posts from fandom a you dont want or trigger warnings. but the blacklist feature isnt reliable because a lot of times I got posts with the blacklisted word appear on my dash (mind that I have no words in my whitelist) and that defies the reason behind blacklisting words

Love the app, totally appreciate your work. But right now it wont display content and wont let me log out. Help?

it crashes so often.. and if its not ask too much, could xkit guys add tag search within blog like tumblr app, so i can completely remove the app. thank you xkit guys i hope yall have a good day!

Hi xkit guy. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do. Some features I would like if you have the time are saving full resolution photos, saving gifs, being able to click on a tag on a blog to see all their posts for that tag and editing a post to make it private. I hope you are doing well and having a nice day.
